……then Darragh Beirne’s Speech & Drama Skills Foundation Course is just what you’re looking for…….

The Speech & Drama Skills Foundation Course is carried out in a fixed group workshop environment with the overall objective of equipping members with an increased knowledge and understanding of theatre skills, both practical and physical, while encouraging exploration & imagination.
The course includes an introduction to Stagecraft & Acting Methods. It will run at a high pace and will require full attendance to all classes, as well as focus & participation from the start. This course is suited towards those who are looking to improve on their current skill sets achieved through regular workshop attendance, rather than those looking for confidence on stage and new to drama.
All participants will be assessed on completion of the course. It is envisaged participants will have achieved a higher understanding of theatre and stage theory and practice through a structured methodology equipping them with skills to further their hobby or career paths” (Darragh Beirne).
IMPORTANT INFO:
Booking must be made in advance by Sunday April 10th to secretary@nodramatheatre.com as the course will not take place if numbers are too low. Members can not join after the due date if the course goes ahead.
Payment can be made to Sheila on or before the first workshop. The cost is €50 for the 10 week course on top of membership. Please note that this is an extremely low cost for a course of this quality. The course takes place from April 11th to July 4th. Workshops will not run on bank holidays or over Easter. One workshop will take place on a Saturday afternoon. Date to be confirmed.
The course is run by Darragh Beirne. Darragh is a past member of No Drama Theatre and holds Level 3 Graded Examination in Speech & Drama with RIAM & LCM, DipLCM, ALCM in performance and teaching
