Welcome Sophie!

Some very exciting news! No Drama Theatre is welcoming our fourth intern this summer! Sophie will be starting her internship today and will be with us until the end of July! Please join us in giving her a No Drama welcome:

Hi everyone! I am Sophie and I’m the new intern for the next three months or so. Very excited! I’m from The Netherlands where I study at The University of the Arts Utrecht. Here I am studying for a bachelor in Theatre and Education. I am interested in all the different forms that theatre can take, so I am happy to help out with different activities at No Drama Theatre. Also, I am going to facilitate a few lessons on how to create your own workshop. I am looking forward to meet you! :). If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know! I’m very happy to help.

See you soon,

WORKSHOP – 28 June 2022

June is nearly over but there’s lots of fun still to come!

This week’s workshop will be facilitated by Chris O’Regan.

Following from what we’ve learned in recent workshops on silence, storytelling, character development, Chris is going to tie these together through the storytelling trope of ‘Show, Don’t Tell‘. And don’t worry if you missed any workshops, you’ll fit in just fine!

Our weekly workshops run roughly from 7 to 9 pm, after which a couple of sneaky pints or non-alcoholics beverages will be had! The members of the committee will lead you to the pub and make sure you won’t get lost!

What else is No Drama Theatre doing, I hear you say??

I’m glad you asked! No Drama Theatre has numerous fabulous theatrical activities to keep you busy! For all most recent information, check out our social media, website or if you have any questions, ideas or thoughts drop us an email:

Facilitators Workshop – 16 July 2022

Calling all wannabe facilitators, this one is especially for you!

No Drama is famous for their Workshop Tuesdays. Every week we zoom in on another Theatre genre or method. But how, how do you create your own workshop? What does it take?

During this session Sophie will guide you to create your own workshop entirely based on your own fascination or interest.

Looking forward to it! 🙂

Covid Safety Measurements

We’re very excited to be welcoming you back to our in-person No Drama activities! This post is to inform you of all measures we’ve undertaken to ensure the safety No Drama members.

1. As per government guidelines, all attendees must be able to show a valid covid certificate as proof of full vaccination.

2. Before a workshop, all door handles, posts, bathroom surfaces and surfaces in the meeting room and workshop room will be cleaned down with sterilizing solution.

3. This process is repeated after the workshop closes.

4. All members are required to sanitise their hands thoroughly upon entry to the school.

5. A contactless payment method will be available, to avoid money handling.

6. Greetings to be verbal rather than handshakes and hugs, a wave or air kiss is encouraged. During workshops, physical contact should be avoided.

7. Please ensure, as a member, if you cough or sneeze that you do so into a tissue that is disposed of properly. Please provide your own tissues.

8. If you, a member, have a low immune system, an underlying health complaint, are in close contact with an elderly person or person of underlying health concerns or young children please consider them and yourselves before you make the decision to attend a workshop.

We’re very excited to be back and want to ensure we can enjoy No Drama in the safest possible manner. We will continue to organise our weekly workshops in person, however, if a time comes where we are required to suspend the weekly workshop we shall do so in accordance to health authority specifications.

Now go and have fun!

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, this AGM will be held online and through zoom.

If you would like to attend, please do shoot us a private message or email, and we will provide you with the Zoom link for this year’s AGM.

We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Hi there you handsome stud!

Looking for some drama? We promise you we will be back in September.

In the meantime, keep an eye on our social media, as there’s still LOTS going on!

See you in September! x

no drama bookworms

Do you like scripts? Do you like reading? Do you want to have a say in what productions No Drama Theatre put in?
Then we are looking for you!

We’re very excited to introduce to you No Drama Bookworms, led by Declan Ryan.

The Bookworms will be meeting weekly, working their way through play scripts delivered by, well, you! These scripts can be old. They can be new. They can be comedy, horror, mystery, drama… you get it. The only criteria we have is that the group has not already performed it!

We will be looking for approximately 10 members, who will be reading and shortlisting potential future productions for No Drama Theatre. We recommend any members interested in directing or assistant directing a main production, to join the group.

So what do you have to do to join the No Drama Bookworms?

• Submit a piece you want the Bookworms to read.
• Write a short synopsis about the play you submitted, why it should be considered and what you particularly like about the script.
• Give us a brief outline of your experience in Theatre and with No Drama Theatre.

Email us at before Monday the 1st of March.

We look forward to seeing your applications! ♥️
