This week’s workshop will be faciliated by the lovely Celeste Gil Castro!
This workshop will focus on discovering what the actor’s tools are and using them successfully in the performing arts through acting exercises and exploration.
Are you ready to act?
Coming all the way from Venezuela, Celeste is an actor and model from the Juana Sujo School of Performing Arts In Caracas. During her time there she was an integral part in the National Theater Company of Venezuela (CNT), having participated in many plays presented in the capital.
Since leaving her home country in 2018, Celeste has lived in 3 different countries. Firstly Ecuador, where she participated in various short films and poetry events, then London, England in 2019 where she participated in acting, behind the scenes film work and interview processes for a LatinX Media community called FilmLocos.
Celeste moved to Ireland in September of 2021, and already she is making her mark on the scene with appearances in open mic nights, some advertising work, a guest position in a podcast and as her most recent work participating in the play The Buried at the Heard + Scene festival 2023.
Currently, Celeste is building up a series of her own monologues to present around Dublin city.
