This week’s workshop will be facilitated by the extremely talented Shane Robinson and will be all about physicality in theatre!
In this workshop, we’ll be looking at physical movement as the primary method of storytelling. Using the body as the primary tool we can get out of our heads and play freely by putting our focus outside of ourselves.
We’ll explore simple storytelling techniques with reduced emphasis on text using movement, gesture, characterisation, physical comedy and the performer-audience relationship by the use of staging.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing to make sure you can get the most of out the workshop.
Join us this Tuesday in Bunscoil Sancta Maria, Synge St. Doors 6:45pm, workshop starts at 7pm sharp!
10€ drop-in fee / 25€ per month (both cash and contactless accepted). If it’s your first workshop, it’s on us!
