We are excited to announce that we are now looking to fill the role of Assistant Director for our upcoming Winter Production of ‘The Memory of Water’, by Shelagh Stephenson!

Interested in getting some directorial experience, with a view to one day directing your own No Drama production?

This is your time to shine!

What do we need from you?

You’ll work alongside our fab director, Jacqueline Carroll, helping her to bring this piece from page to stage! You will need to be organised, able to adapt to change, enthusiastic and eager to learn! This is a challenging role which involves staying on top of a lot of different moving parts, so we need someone who is up for a challenge and not afraid to get stuck in! Past experience is desired but is not essential.

We are also looking for someone who is keen to direct their own No Drama production in the near future. We want to put the experience you’ll gain from this production to good use!

You’ll need to be available for show week (3rd – 9th December) and for regular rehearsals between now and then!

What’s in it for you?

You will be at the heart of bringing a full length production to life! You will work with an array of different cast and crew members, meaning an opportunity to learn from and have the craic with a wonderfully wide selection of No Drammies!

You will be able to work closely with and learn from Jacqueline and her vast experience in the realm of acting, directing, production management and theatre as a whole!

You will be able to learn the ropes of directing a main production and you’ll get to watch everything you put into the show pay off on show week! You will get a full 360° view of everything that goes into a main production!

Once you have been an Assistant Director for one of our main productions, you also become eligible to be one of our future Directors!
