This Halloween….. No Drama presents: an Arcane Theatre production….

…..STAGE FRIGHT, a festival of the dark, strange and mysterious.

From October 22nd-26th we will run our first ever Halloween festival: a week of short plays featuring themes of horror, mystery, strangeness, suspense and downright creepiness.

We are now taking submissions! Deadline is Monday 1st July at 5pm.

Scripts should be between 15 minutes and 60 minutes long, although we could consider shorter or longer in exceptional circumstances.

We aim for each play to get at least 2 shows during the week.

Applications will be assessed by a committee.

When we have reviewed your submission we may:
-accept it
-not accept it
-accept it provisionally, based on suggested changes and amendments.

Finished scripts are required, however in exceptional cases we will accept unfinished scripts.

We aim to provide applicants support and assistance in terms of props, casting, rehearsal space but this depends on availability.

This is a great opportunity for experienced writers, new writers and for those who want to develop their craft.

Smock Alley is one of Ireland’s most cherished theatres and the Boy’s School venue offers a unique and atmospheric setting for plays with a horror element.
