As you may have noticed, we’re using a new venue for our latest production, and you might ask yourself where is it?
Ask no longer!
How to get to the Sean O’Casey
Luas – red line
Board a red line tram that is bound for The Point. Get out at the Spencer Dock stop. Going in the direction the tram was travelling take the first left and continue straight down, you’ll come to a wee intersection, continue straight which brings you over a bridge. Take the steps down to your left, at the bottom of the steps don’t immediately go right, but walk a few metres and take the next right turn, go straight on and the centre is right in front of you! It’s just over a 5 minute walk.
Bus
The 151 has a stop about 2 minutes away from the centre. Get the 151 going towards the Docklands (there are stops on Bachelors Walk, Eden Quay, Custom House Quay etc), and take it to the last stop which should be East Rd. When you get off continue walking on East Rd take the right onto Church Rd (I think it’s the third or fourth right), and then the first right onto Marys Rd. et voila! It’s about a 3 minute walk. The buses leave approximately every 20 minutes from their terminus.
Car
If you are driving, the parking in that area is free and there has never been an issue getting parking there. There are a few spaces directly in front of the theatre and then the rest is on the street. The theatre is in a housing estate so just be careful not to block peoples’ gates etc when you’re parking.
Walking
The theatre is about a 20 minute walk from Connolly train station
