Carl is a Belfast-bred Dubliner whose acting journey began in 2017 after (he claims) the Salmon of Knowledge visited him in a dream and declared that his soul would never be at peace until he treaded the boards of Smock Alley. Carl then trained on stage part-time with the Gaiety School of Acting 2018-2020 and more recently graduated from Bow Street Academy (Part-time screen course 2021 / Advanced part-time screen course 2022).

Carl finally made his stage debut as Jonathan Harker in No Drama Theatre’s production of Dracula last year and is thrilled to be teaming up with such an incredible cast in Ciaran Treanor’s Show Time!

Carl’s TV / Screen credits include short films ‘Maro’, ‘Box Clever’, ‘Benighted Entries’, ‘Cold Hearted Cowboys’ and a Bushmills Commercial released in 2022. Carl is said to eat hazelnuts before going on stage to pay homage to the Salmon of Knowledge for its creative inspiration.
