Dave has been hooked on theatre ever since taking part in a production of Ernie’s Incredible illusions at 14 where he played Ernie’s Auntie. Much later, In 2008, he was fortunate enough to find an outlet for that passion in No Drama which has and continues to provide him with opportunities to try almost every role a theatre production can offer. 

Dave directed several No Drama productions: Ecstasy (2011), The Man From Earth (2013) and She Kills Monsters (2018). He also performed in Night At The Invasion (2009), Wanted One Body (2010), Harvey (2015) and Kate Krackernuts (2019).

Dave has completed courses in Stage Combat and Armed Combat with The Lir as well as Acting Performance with the Irish Board of Speech and Drama.

Dave is delighted to take part in ‘The Buried’ and the smock alley Scene and Heard festival and dislikes having to speak in the third person.
