Introducing… the 48 Hour Play  🎭

Interested in putting on a show, but don’t have the time to dedicate 9 weeks out of your schedule to rehearsals and the other minutiae that goes into putting on a show? Looking for something theatrical for the Summer but feeling bummed out that No Drama’s workshops will be on pause till September?

Well, if you’re free from 14-16th of July, you’re invited to sign up for No Drama’s first 48 hour play! What’s a 48 hour play, you ask? Well, our former Dutch intern (and now, fully qualified professional Director) Sophie Van Slooten is coming back to direct a 30-50 minute show in the Pearse Centre and we need YOUR HELP to do it!

Over the course of 48 hours, you will go from writing, devising and casting a show, to rehearsing, tech-ing and performing a full on show from scratch!

We’re currently looking for 6-8 actors and a number of people to assist behind the scenes, so if any of the above sounds interesting, please email contact@nodramatheatre.com to register your interest. (Please note that, if you are registering as an actor, we would ask that you join a group zoom on 03/07/2023 between 6pm and 9pm so that Sophie can audition you and get a feel for the roles.)

This is going to be a highly intensive, highly fun weekend that is not to be missed, so register fast before it fills up!
