We would like to introduce the Assistant Director for this year’s Summer Production of ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead’, by Tom Stoppard – Lana Camilli!

Lana started dipping her toes into theatre in 2018, when she started attending No Drama Theatre workshops to battle a lifetime of shyness!

She performed in a few No Drama Shindigs before braving her first main production in December 2022, as Miss Wells in No Drama’s Winter Production of ‘Dracula’. In keeping with the horror theme, she then went on to play the ghostly part of ‘The Woman’ in ‘The Buried’, at Scene and Heard Festival 2023 and No Drama/Arcane Theatre’s Halloween event ‘Into the Void’ in November 2023. Finally, she took a break from horror to perform as Squara in the short comedy ‘Adventure Play’ during RaroFest, November 2023.

Since joining No Drama, she has also enjoyed exploring the different behind-the-scenes roles that make a play, including doing tech and stage management for various No Drama Shindigs. She is looking forward to putting this backstage experience to the test as she takes on the new challenge of assistant director for ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead’!

‘Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead’, by Tom Stoppard, directed by Shivvy Hickey, will run from Tuesday 11 to Saturday 15 June 2024, in Smock Alley Theatre, Boys School!
