Howdy friends!

Hope everyone enjoyed the gorgeous sunshine last weekend, ’twas only gorgeous! And we have even more sunny times ahead because this week’s workshop will be “The Basics of Writing Comedy” facilitated by the funny and talented man himself Mr Malcolm Bolton!

Inspiration can be a difficult thing to find at times, especially whenever it comes to writing comedy. This week we will be taking a focus on the origins of performative comedy, how the comedic ‘game’ of a scene is established and how to develop character motivations and status.

Malcolm is an Application Support specialist with Zarion software, and your current No Drama Secretary 😉

Outside of actively engaging in No Drama events, monologue nights and shindig pieces, he has also spent his time studying Improvisational Comedy and sketch writing with Mob Theatre Dublin.
