How can you play on stage? How can you perfect your staging? Let’s take a look at speed, rhythm and cadence within absurd theatre. This workshop is based around choreography and exaggeration. We will look at speeding things up and slowing things right down, fattening them til they burst, and even skipping whole chunks of action to tell an aesthetic story instead of just a story. We’ll try to apply the Lecoq technique of expand and reduce.
