WORKSHOP – 15 MAY

“Site-specific theatre is any type of theatrical production designed to be performed at a unique, specially adapted location other than a standard theatre.”

In tomorrow’s workshop, we will be focusing on site-specific theatre, aka theatre on location. In this workshop, you’re invited to research the qualities and possibilities of creating and acting in site-specific theatre. Researching and discovering the impact of a location and your audience on your piece.

“A performance which overtly uses the properties, qualities and meanings found at/on a given site and emphasizes particular images, stories, and events that reveal the complex relationship between ourselves and our physical environment.”

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow. If you’re new, this workshop is free!
