We are looking for the Assistant Director for our 2023 Summer Production of The Real Inspector Hound!

What do we need from you?

You’ll work alongside the director, Dave McGowan, helping to bring the play to life and ensure it is a success! You will need to be organised, able to adapt to change, enthusiastic and eager to learn! This is a challenging role which involves staying on top of every aspect of the show, so we need someone who is up for a challenge! Past experience is desired but not essential.

We are also looking for someone who is keen to direct their own No Drama production in the near future. We want to put all the experience you’ll gain from this production to good use!!

You’ll need to be available for show week (1st – 8th July) and for regular rehearsals throughout the months of May and June.

You will work alongside an experienced director, learning the ropes of directing a main production and seeing everything you put into the show pay off in the most rewarding way! You will get to work with lots of lovely No Drama actors and behind the scenes folks, getting a full 360° view of everything that goes into a main production!

Once you have been an Assistant Director for one of our main productions, you also become eligible to be one of our future Directors!
